Why Donate?

We are here to present an inspiring project called Sparktech Robotics Tutoring. Sparktech is a kid-to-kid project founded by Cesar Benemelis, a Miami Coral Park Senior High School student.

Miami Coral Park is an engineering magnet school with 97 percent

of the student population being Latino immigrant students whose

families come to the US looking for opportunities for their kids.

Cesar comes from Cuba, where he dreamed of becoming an astronaut but could have never achieved those dreams.

However, at Miami Coral Park, studying coding robotics, physics, and engineering principles, he feels that his goals are closer to becoming a reality. That is why he created Sparktech Robotics Tutoring.

Since the beginning, his most intimate friends from Coral Park joined without hesitation. Together, they have faithfully committed extra hours every Saturday to plan the classes and help the kids.

The project started three years ago, and the kids in Africa have never missed a class. However, they face many challenges, such as homelessness, hunger, lack of electricity, floods, unstable internet connection, health issues, and lack of computers and technical resources.

The program has 230 kids aged 5-18, with the oldest African kids teaching

the youngest. Pastor Humphrey Wawiretundo is the kids' caretaker but does

not have a place of his own to foster some of the kids who wander

around the neighborhood, like Brandon Ochieng, age 15, who was

expelled from his house forever a couple of days ago when his dad found

out that he was not his biological father.

Our idea is to collect funds and call out Coral Park alums to donate to build a school and foster house in Africa, Kenya, where Miami Coral Park leaves a legacy of freedom and opportunity.

The program will also collect funds to strengthen the technology and cutting-edge STEM program to make Coral Park a leading school in those subjects and provide more opportunities for the Latino community.

The project is more than just an opportunity for the African kids; it is also an opportunity for the Coral Park students to give back to their community. They will teach the kids in Africa in exchange for community service hours.

The program will continue to exist even when the founders are no longer Coral Park students. Their vision is to be future donors, administrators, and advocates.

Today, we must help kids like Brandon Ochien in Manyatta, Kenya, and Pastor Humphrey Wawiretundo to make a safe and peaceful shelter of knowledge in Africa, Kenya, whose kids follow and are inspired by Miami Coral Park.

We invite you to join us in this noble cause by supporting Sparktech Robotics Tutoring. Together, we can significantly impact the lives of these kids and their future. Thank you.
